While I skied, my companion enjoyed the whirlpool, a massage, and a comfortable chaise where a sign clearly stated no one under age 16 was allowed in the lounge. If we will return, we will book spa services in advance some of the treatments were unavailable to us because others had already booked appointments. We found the resort has many amenities-the swimming pools, the spa with very comfortable lounges for both men and women, many spa services. I lived in northern Vermont for four years this deal offered a great chance to return, see how the area had changed, and do some Nordic skiing at a venue I had not seen in nearly 20 years. We got a good deal on a two-night stay at the resort, which we had never visited before. Pool and spa are great, and staff overall really sweet. Food at Flannel was great, but I was surprised to find the same menu as in the summer - it would be lovely to see a seasonal change. Something came up and we would have liked additional babysitting or tennis lessons for kids, but it was really difficult to arrange for the next day, and babysitting has a minimum of 4 hours. Nothing that one cannot live without, but the little things they should work on. I called for some coffee and water and it took an hour to get it. It is juts not nice to come back from skiing in the late afternoon and not have the room ready. Also, no newspapers for the first two mornings and housekeeping skipped us once. I was surprised that our rooms were not ready, I understand that they were busy for Easter weekend, but room should be ready by 6 pm of a day of check-in. People are genuinely kind and overall it was a pleasant stay. We love this place, energy about it - relaxed, but modern and clean. I stayed here with my parents and kids during the summer last year and decided to come with my husband and kids for few extra days of skiing/spa.
